What do we do?

There is a lot of flexibility in what we do.  Most of the time we gather there are 3 main components to the gathering.  We eat together, we spend time connecting with God through different expression of worship or meditation.  Most often we study the bible together but we look for truth and meaning in everything from movies, documentaries, sermons, conference video and books.    We highly value participation from everyone.

Each church has a lot of flexiblity in how they do things as long as they remain intentionally simple and faithful to Christ with the scriptures as their guide.”

Here are some of the latest questions:

How do you find the strength to do what you know in your heart is right?

What makes you proud?

What is the greatest truth?

Is there ever a time when giving up makes sense?

What makes a person beautiful?

I'm going to print some of these off and have them in a binder for discussion starters for when our Japanese Student is here.  (At the meeting last week, they suggest talking a lot with her.  Not sure if she will enter in, but I think a specific discussion time will be great for all of us).

Use to journal or have a discussion.

Have you had a great discussion lately?
