The Amish of Email

Ha, ha, ha.  I loved this blog entry.  It reminds me of my cousin Stephanie.  (She has email but rarely uses it.  Well she reads what I send but she never responds via email... I usually get a phone call instead.)

It so interesting when a person decides to be different from the people and the culture around them.  Some people take it all in stride, and yet others take it personally or think that you are judging their choice to be like everyone else.   I have seen it in the stay at home mom vs the working mom, the public school vs home schooling, institutional church vs organic church, Facebook user vs non FB user, and now email user vs non-email user.  :o)

I myself love email.  I love how you can communicate with another person, send a message, ask a question, and the other person can answer when they have the time.  It is a very convenient way to communicate about simple things.  BUT it will never take the place a phone call or face to face visit.  <3
