drafting off each others interests :o)

Create a home environment where people do what they do, near each other. I call this "drafting" off of each other's interests. As one watches a movie or reads a book, someone else is online posting to a discussion forum. Someone else may be putting together quesadillas and still another, folding laundry. If you inhabit a space together, you can pitch in, shout out a momentary insight, read a tidbit from your book aloud, call attention to a funny pun on a TV show, ask a question, share a new fact. Learning happens when you draft off each other's absorptions, and enjoy shared spaces.
