I have been slowly learning about the Biblical Feasts that God has given his people. Today I looked at the calendar and it says that today is Rosh Hashanah. What is Rosh Hashanah? I went to this website to learn more - HEART OF WISDOM.
Rosh Hashanah is also known as the Feast of Trumpets. You can read about the Feasts in Leviticus 23.
This page gives a good overview of the Feast of Trumpets - http://heartofwisdom.com/biblicalholidays/?p=921
How is Christ found in the Feast of Trumpets? You can read about that here - http://heartofwisdom.com/biblicalholidays/?p=962
I have read that Christ's second coming will be at the Feast of Trumpets.
Interesting stuff. :o)
This is my online journal/commonplace book. I use to post things that interest me or things that I want to keep track of and go back read at another time. I am an "Infojunkie" (as my mother loving dubbed me), and this blog allows me to have an outlet for my infojunkie ways. :o)

REVALORIZING THE TRADES
REVALORIZING THE TRADES
This seems to a topic that comes up again and again in my reading/surfing the net. Is an university education all that it is sold to be? Are we neglecting looking at the trades and such?
This was an interesting article but I did find the comments section even more thought provoking.

Out Of The Dump - Guatemala
This is a great story of someone who took what they were good at and blessed others with it. It all started out so small and now has grown to see "fruit" and the work, the blessing continue to flow.

Children forced to scavenge a living on the rubbish dumps of Guatemala are being given the chance to turn their lives around - thanks to photography lessons from an ex-Reuters photographer.
