It is starting to feel more official.... that fall is here... the season of focused learning, bookwork, classes and of course Mug up. :o) Today I attended my school boards lunch for the "teachers" (a.k.a. Moms). All the talk of ups and downs of teaching our kids, learning along side them, books, curriculum and looking ahead to the future was inspiring and fun. It was great to be in a room of over 60 moms, to know that there are others who are taking the 'radical' journey of educating our kids outside the institutional walls of public school. It is also amazing to see how each family is educating there kids in a unique way... no cookie cutter conveyor belt education for our kids.
Home schooling is a great adventure and we are enjoying the journey... not worrying about a destination.
